We don't track you.
Full stop.

Most websites say they respect your privacy while running Google Analytics, Facebook pixels, and a dozen invisible trackers. We don't. This page explains exactly what we do and don't do with your data — in plain language, not legalese.

The short version

None. This website sets zero cookies. There is nothing to accept or decline.

Tracking

None. No Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no Hotjar, no marketing tools of any kind.

Data brokers

We do not share, sell, or provide data to any third party for advertising or profiling purposes. Ever.

Your data

The only personal data we hold is what you voluntarily send us via the contact form.

AI training

Our robots.txt explicitly blocks known AI training scrapers. We do not consent to our content being used to train commercial AI systems.

What our hosting provider sees

This site is hosted by Netlify. As with any web hosting, Netlify's servers receive basic request logs — your IP address, the page requested, and the timestamp. This is standard infrastructure logging, not tracking. Netlify does not use this data for advertising. You can read their privacy policy at netlify.com/privacy.

Your domain registration is handled by GoDaddy. They see DNS lookups for our domain but have no access to site content or visitor data.

Fonts and icons

We currently load fonts from Google Fonts and icons from jsDelivr. Both services receive your IP address when your browser requests these files. We are in the process of self-hosting these assets to eliminate these third-party requests entirely. When complete, this site will make zero external requests.

Contact form

When you use the contact form, your submission is processed by Netlify Forms and emailed to us at hello@tesserainstitute.com.au. We use your details only to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to mailing lists, share your details with third parties, or retain your data beyond what is necessary to respond.

Security

This site uses HTTPS, enforced by Netlify's automatic SSL certificate provisioning. We implement strict Content Security Policy headers to prevent cross-site scripting and other injection attacks. We do not use client-side JavaScript from external advertising or analytics networks.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Privacy Principles, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal information we hold about you. Since we collect very little, this is straightforward.
